Peppy Peanut Butter Chocolate protein shake

Don’t forgoe your chocolate craving – with chocolate whey protein powder you can satisfy both your sweet tooth and your muscle’s craving for protein after a workout. This is my favorite recipe for post workout goodness:

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I like Muscle Milk light)
  • 1 tb natural, unsalted peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana (you need that potasium post workout!)
  • 1 cup cold brewed coffee (tip: save a cup from your morning pot)
  • 1 cup ice

Blend together for an amazing and healthy treat! Just check out all this goodness:

Calories: about 250 (depending on protein powder brand)
Protein: about 20 (depending on protein powder brand)
Potasium: 243 mg
Fat: 8g
