Make the most of your workout!
Hello sweet tooth! Your life has been saved. Now that I’m in full on training and 2 weeks away from competition, I have ZERO room for cheats and error in my diet. boo! So I *thought* this meant I would be suffering a slow death march… but NO! This. Changes. Everything.
So a few weeks ago, a friend introduced me to Beverly Nutrition and their UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein) powder. It’s a (mostly) casein and (some) whey blend, and it’s TO DIE FOR. Hands down the best tasting, best texture protein powder on the market. Only downside: it’s pricey (Buy directly from Beverly or on Amazon). You can mix it with water like a normal shake, OR you can have it in so many delectable ways (pancakes, cakes, etc.) – there are some recipes on the Beverly site.
I have been experimenting making Chocolate LAVA CAKE! Yes I said CAKE. And CHOCOLATE. And YES you can have it! Here is how I made the above:
